Scandinavian Capacity Reserve (SCR) was founded in April 2021 with the ambition to be the Nordic Market leader in developing Large Scale Battery Systems.
SCR founders have a combined 50+ years in Senior Executive roles in top ranked energy companies in the European and Nordic energy markets. The founders have an excellent track record Trading, Origination, Risk Management, Business Management and M&A activities across markets and commodities.
The experience, track record and network will support in delivering the SCR vision of developing more than 200 MW of Battery Capacity in Sweden before 2026.
SCR has a solid pipeline of projects with the first three sites secured in Southern Sweden. SCR has partnered with RES for a successful deployment of the first 20 MW project in SE4 with Commercial Operation Date in 2023.
